Passion For Life Healthcare Appoints BrandConnection as Media Agency

Passion For Life Healthcare has appointed BrandConnection as media agency following a strategic review. This follows the tripling of the media budget to support this fast-growing business in 2003.

Following significant sales growth of 75% across the UK and international businesses in 2002, combined with achieving entry into the list of the UK's top 50 healthcare companies, Passion For Life Healthcare has committed over £1m for media in 2003.

This will support the brand portfolio, which includes Snoreeze, a natural anti-snoring remedy, Wartner, a 20-second solution for warts and verrucas and PediTech, a unique foot odour product. The company most recently launched Bio-Fem Actigel, a natural aloe-based solution for intimate female complaints and has other significant launches planned for 2003.

The international business has demonstrated significant growth and Passion For Life Healthcare are now active in over 30 countries worldwide. Supporting the international business is a new European office-base in Geneva.

Passion For Life Healthcare have also reorganised their internal marketing function in light of this fast growth, bringing in Will Pugh, formerly a senior Unilever marketer, as Marketing Director and Louise Moore, formerly of Boots The Chemists, as Head of PR.
